latest changes to our site
As the school year nears its end, it's time to make changes and improvements based on the knowledge we have acquired this year. This was the first web site we created, and we made a few mistakes we need to correct. Over the next few weeks we will be adding the projects that were not yet posted. We will also be rearranging and renaming some of the pages in order to be prepared to add next year's pages.
The plan is to rename the sites to include the graduation year. Ultimately, this site will become brapaas6-2014.weebly.com, presuming the name is available. We will retain the original web site name and use it as a landing page with links to each year's page in the hope that it will eliminate confusion. We also own the domain brapaas6.org, and hope to be able to begin building our web site from there. In any event, the site we have created will not disappear and we will make sure you are able to find it.
In addition to updating this site with our David Smith and Lost Civilization projects, we are working on posting the remaining videos and photos to the class Shutterfly account created in fourth grade. Our tribute video to Maya Angelou was uploaded today, and we will be adding photos from Roman Marketplace, DARE, and David Smith Project shortly. We will also be adding our Egypt Rap video, and India/China News video. Please check back over the next few weeks to make sure you see all of the amazing work the students have created.
The students and I want to thank you for your patience as we have worked to build this site. It was a new experience for us and there was a bit of a learning curve. Mostly, I curved and the kids raced forward leaving me in the dust. When you see the amazing literature circle sites they created, which we will be linking to this site, you'll understand.
Thank you all for a wonderful year!
